The new Javelin J420 printer with its built-in flip-over unit offers a wealth of features and options, including encoding magnetic stripes and smart cards.

The Javelin range of printers offers fast and attractive personalisation of cards making them ideal for a wide range of identification purposes - from access control, membership and promotion, to visitor cards and badges. The 300 dpi resolution ensures exceptionally sharp print quality, and the cards take around 25 seconds (single sided) or around 35 seconds (dual sided) to print in full colour, or less than 5 seconds in monochrome.

The Javelin J420 offers dual sided printing with a unique flip-over capability that allows you to print on both sides of a card. Edge-to-edge printing now comes as standard. And with their unparalleled printing quality, Javelin printers offer a fast, cost-effective solution for all your identification needs - and even give you the option to encode magnetic stripes and smart cards. The useful LCD panel assists the operator by describing clearly the current status of the printer. It even provides a reminder when routine cleaning needs to be done.

The Javelin is ideal for both instant card issue and batch runs. Plain or pre-printed cards can be loaded into the input hopper, and by using dye sublimation or thermal transfer technology, the image, signature, data and graphics can be printed on the surface of each card in full colour. The finished cards are then coated with a hard, clear overlay varnish to give additional protection.
